No argument on that.  The place is full of lawyers and all that matters
to the FCC now is bending over for the NAB, big telecom companies, and
selling as much spectrum as possible.

Agreement doesn't matter.  We either abide by the rules as set down or
we give up the hobby or become scofflaws.  I'm not in favor of the third
option, but those are the ones I see that exist at present.

Also, Moran can't really rail about this fee if he voted for the
legislation in the waning days of 2018 that required the fees be
implemented.  As the senate was held by a slim republican majority in
that congress, I presume he did.

The field for an email address has been on the form for years.  I agree,
however, that the sudden requirement and its potential consequences are
unreasonable.

What battle?  We, white male radio hobbyists, are going to be very low
on the incoming administration's priority list.  Any battle was over
decades ago and we lost.

Since March the attitude adopted by all levels of government is for them
to tell us to jump and for our only allowed response to be how high.

My apologies for straying a bit off topic, but as I see it, elections
have consequences and eventually we see them manifested in the
regulations of our shared hobby.
