A bit of Open Source bug repellent!

Actually, I was able to document what was going wrong and submit a bug
report to the developers last week.  The bug was found and fixed within
a couple of days.  Then I filed a bug report to the Debian bug tracker
and the maintainer applied the fix and uploaded an updated package.  It
worked its way into Testing and onto my desktop this morning.
