[MCARC] Zoom Mtg

Our MCARC Zoom meeting is scheduled to begin at 7pm on Thursday, December 16.  Below is the link to the meeting.  Also included is the meeting ID and password if you need to join the meeting by that method.

I used my own Zoom account to have a meeting with myself as a bit of a refresher.  Once you are connected the main thing that you can change is to toggle between speaker view and gallery view.  If you tap or click on the screen you will probably find somewhere an icon that looks like 9 squares in three rows. Selecting this put you in gallery mode in which you will see the picture of all participants. The icon to change to speaker mode is a horizontal bar with three squares below.  If it is not already visible, the “menu” with options is probably accessed by taping or clicking on the screen.

One of the menu options you might choose to use during the meeting for various reasons is to mute your microphone or video. These are handy for example if you need to take a phone call.

When you are ready to leave the meeting, you will need to bring up the menu and there should be a red “button or icon” that says Leave.
