Guys.... Dave had a very nice article in the Marysville paper about astronomy this week.  I had first noticed the two planets that are coming together when we were in the campgrounds in Manhattan this week, however I was incorrect of which planets it was. Norma and I had a very good location to view them.  However now with the fires haze around, I don't know how visible it will be.  You need to read the article...

With September 1 being on a Tuesday, the 3rd Thursday of the month seems to come quickly.  This coming Thursday, Sept. 17 we will again plan on meeting at the Lions Club shelter house in Marysville at 6:30 pm.  As in the past, if you want to pick up or bring something to eat for supper feel free to do so.
