When we last did FD west of town in '17 we had a 2m vertical at a good
height and a 2m Big Wheel above the triband yagi at about 50 feet and a
6m loop mounted on the building, if I recall, at about 15 feet. There
wasn't as much activity on 146.520 as we thought there would be. 2m SSB
was fairly productive with a short tropo opening on Sunday
morning--worked into WI. 6m didn't do much. Two years ago from Lions
Park 6m had a reasonably good prolonged Es opening on Sunday morning.

I even did some CW on 6m two years ago.

In a way I would have expected more activity on 146.520, but in the past
that frequency was discouraged which only was changed a few years ago in
the FD rules.

On SSB the activity centers around the calling frequencies, i,e, 50.125
and 144.200 for 6m and 2m respectively and often goes up in frequency
for each. CW tends toward the high end of the CW only portion of each
of those bands. I've no experience on 432 or other UHF bands.
