The year is nearing the end and another is about to begin.
Thank you to all of you that have put Amateur Radio in the
spotlight this year and to all those that helped out with
the Kansas Section nets. Perhaps propagation will improve
with the new calendar.
I wish you wonderful holidays and a fun start to the new year.

Parsons Area Amateur Radio Club held an outdoor activity day
November 9 th at Neosho State lake North of Parsons.
Bob-AE0AQ handled the foodservice operating for the dozen that
braved the cold. Joe-W0MQY and Jack-WA0CFD brought out a QRP station and
antennas. Mike-WA0GLS on the other hand made contacts from his motor
home. President Rick-W0RT provided a variety of CW instruments for the
operation. Thanks to W0RT for the report.
Mine Creek ARC Hamfest is February 1 st at LaCygne. Opens at 9AM

Western Kansas 160M Net invites your check-in. Tuesday evenings 9pm
central time\8pm mountain time on 1.960 MHz LSB. This net has check-ins
from many states. Matt-KD0EZS looks forward to your call.
Kansas Slow Speed Net is held Mondays at 7:30 on or near 3547 KHz. Our
host is WD0ESF- Mike in Medicine Lodge.
