March 20, 2018 MCARC Meeting

At the meeting tonight it was moved, seconded and unanimously approved to suspend formal meetings with Robert’s Rules of Order, minutes and the requirement of a quorum.  This solves three recurring problems.
Persons being interested in attending meetings but not holding an office.
A quorum requires 2 officers and 5 members to be present, which frequently does not happen.
The ability to continue meeting at the UPRR depot is not a certainty.

Mike Stillwell, ACØI has agreed to continue taking care of the treasury and checking account.

It was decided to try meeting at the Wagon Wheel for a meal at 6:30 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (same night, earlier time).

The next meeting will be on April 17 at the Wagon Wheel at 6:30 pm.  We will meet out front and enter as a group so that we know how much table space will be needed.

Field Day was also briefly discussed.  The date this year is June 23-24.  Sue Rowland continues to buy antiques and store them at her annex.  It is getting to little too inconvenient for her to prepare the site for out sue so we need to look for another location if we plan to do FD this year.
