[MCARC] Field Day location may have to change

The city informed that both shelters at Lion's park was reserved for Sunday. I called the person who reserved them to find out what time Sunday they would need the shelter if we used the south one. I did not get an answer so I left a message asking them to call me. So Lion's is still an option even if it was necessary to shut down about 8-10 AM Sunday. 

As a possible option I drove by the Spring Creek park just west of Home City and while there are no restrooms or electricity it is a nice shelter and there are trees to hang antennas. The Blackhawks cycle club built a nice shelter with concrete floor and there are 3 picnic tables, a grill and trash containers. Walmart would be an option for restrooms as would be the ball fields in Home. From a QRM perspective the Spring Creek should be quieter than Lions. 

I will try calling the party who reserved the shelters again after lunch.
