[MCARC] Repeater

Correct, Haug has normally maintained the equipment, I have on many occasions been over to do repairs also, especially the antenna issues.  Haug has temporarly "borrowed" our ant and used it as an extra spare when one of the more "important" systems needed it.  So if it goes off, I would call Haug first.  As I recall the original equipment was purchased by the EM.  A used County rig would have to adapt to the old controller.  The ham requirements would be different (10 min timer... etc).It might have more power output though.  Or do you have other locations in mind?Dennis

Haug did build the current amateur radio repeater and maintains it for the county.  Also Bruce Stanley has been out to the sight and did some small repairs on it also and he would know about the brand.  Mike P you might has Bruce.....

I could go out on a limb and guess them to be Kenwoods what with Haug
being in town and all.  They do carry some other brands, I think.
Motorola Radius seems to come to mind.

You're welcome, Mike.
