I came in on the middle of something, but in 1955 when I got my KNØBYK call, I only missed getting a WNØ... call by about 1 year.  Dennis

I don't know about the RC (don't really care anyway...) but I see that
all the amateurs had W0xxx calls while the Naval Reserve stations had
K0Nxx calls.  Interesting.  Given that the new Novice class came into
being in July, after the floods, there were no Generals sporting K0xxx
calls at that time.
