This weekend is the annual ARRL Simulated Emergency Test.

Several of our A.R.E.S groups will participate with local activity 
in their counties.  We will also have our National Traffic System 
running with the normal schedule of nets plus an additional one 
on Sunday.

Times and Frequencies are:
Saturday and Sunday 6:30PM    3.920 MHz
Sunday 3PM      7.253.5 MHz

You can send me a Radiogram  to show your participation.
Were doing it Old School this year. Here's what to send:

Number 1 Routine,  Your Call sign,  Date, Location,
To: KB0DTI  Ron

This station participating in Kansas SET using backup power
and available to assist locally.   73

                          Your Name

Use your call sign and name and if operating on Utility power pull out
backup power and insert utility.
Take this to one of the nets, present it when the net control asks for
traffic. The number of check-ins and messages are tabulated and sent 
to the emergency department at HQ.
