Special Counsel for Amateur Radio Enforcement, Laura Smith, spoke at
Pacificon last month:

The video runs about 56 minutes.  I found it informative and
entertaining.

After a two year hiatus where she was working for another part of the
FCC, Laura has been focusing specifically on amateur radio enforcement
mattes since June.  Progress is ongoing and enforcement is picking back
up.  In January the FCC and ARRL will announce a revamped OO program
where their observations will now go directly to her.

After watching I know there are people in the FCC that do care about
amateur radio and clearly see our service as a stepping stone for people
to develop and maintain an interest in radio/telecom.
