[MCARC] NPOTA Activation

I gave up waiting on a day that wasn’t windy (I know, its Kansas) and went out Wednesday evening and activated TR07 - Oregon Trail and TR14 - California Trail from Alcove Spring Park.  I started just before 7pm local time and made 82 QSOs in just over an hour on 40 meters.  I was even surprised by Nate, NØNB contacting me.  I will be in Manhattan Saturday and my daughter lives at one of the higher elevations in Manhattan so I might try some mobile chasing from there.  

Because it is the same NP unit number anywhere along these trails, TR14 has the greatest number of QSOs for all NPOTA activity and TR07 is 4th on the list.  Now that I am confident the site will work, maybe we can figure out a time when others can participate - its a lot of fun.
