Here is information about an Extra class licensing class - 11 sessions, held
weekly, 3 hours each.  Classes start January 20, 2022 via Zoom.  Good
instructor.

Free, weekly, live.  The Extra Class Licensing course on Zoom begins
Thursday, Jan 20 and continues through Thursday, March 31 (11 sessions).
Each session will start at 3:30 PT (6:30 ET) and will run for 3 hours.  The
classes are sponsored by the National Electronics Museum, who reportedly
have been conducting these classes for years.  Please publicize this with
anyone you know who might be interested.

Note: If you have a Technician license, you will need to first pass the
General class exam.  Study materials are on-line (ask if you need details).
Our next VE License Event is Saturday, February 5.  If you take the course,
and have a General class license, you should be ready to take the Extra exam
at our second License Event on Saturday, May 14, 2022.  It is not unheard-of
for candidates to take both tests at one sitting, but unless you really know
the material, it is probably better to prepare for one test at a time.

If you gain your Extra class license, you can help us with our VE
examinations!  Good success!
