First, an update to our February 20 License Event.  The results of the exam
were mailed by USPS 2-day air mail on Monday, February 22 and left the San
Rafael Post Office that day.  Expected delivery was to be on Thursday,
February 25.  Last record of tracking information shows it was received in
the San Francisco depot for shipment to the East.  Then, nothing up to today
(Thursday, March 4, 2021).  A call to the ARRL VEC office verifies they have
not received the packet of exam materials and advised we wait further as
they have experienced extended delays in delivery from all over the country.

Please join us for our first of four Communications sessions tonight at
5:30PM via Zoom.  Tonight we will be discussing general introductory
information regarding Amateur Radio, and offer some guidance if you haven't
yet purchased a radio transceiver.
