Happy Holidays from the HWA Steering Committee.  Here’s hoping your 2022 will be QRM (interference free).  This note is to update you on what’s happening at HWA.  First off a reminder that we hold a weekly net on Monday nights where you can check in for the latest events and announcements….



Please join us 7:00-7:30 PM starting on Channel 5

(Central Marin Repeater, 146.775 (-) PL 127.3).



We make calls on Channel 7: 146.775(-) PL 94.8.  We will also make

calls on Channel 4 (Mill Valley Repeater, 146.775(-) PL110.9) and on West

Marin Channel 6, 146.775(-) PL 151.4.



East San Rafael Stations and Novato Stations: Attempt to check directly into

the Central Marin Repeater using Channel 5. If you cannot reach the Channel

5 repeater, you may be able to reach our Channel 7 repeater, 147.775 (-) PL

94.8.



Coming up on Thursday January 13th, 2022 will be a general Zoom get-together at 7PM.  You’re invited to take part as we aim to get the new year off to a rousing start. Zoom coordinates will follow as we get closer to the date.  On the agenda, updates regarding the quarterly VE examinations, radio classes, and the latest on our four repeater sites. We will have some exciting news on how you can get involved. Your skills could help with the website, social activities and on-air exercises.  Part of our goal is to participate in Ham Field Day in June.  It should be loads of fun and a chance for you to meet your fellow hams.
We are looking forward to an exciting 2022 and you’re invited to be a part of the fun.
