[MarinTeams] Radio Exercise Saturday March 28 8-12noon

The re-scheduled MarinTeams exercise is set for this Saturday, March 28.  I
hope you can participate!
We have modified our first Team Radio field exercise this year to restrict
travel and group contact; stations will operate on Channel 5 from their
homes.  If you would like to participate, it will be very easy.  You will be
given a part in a script and participants will use their transceivers to
read their parts of the script over the air.  The script will simulate
events within an isolated neighborhood that could possibly occur in a large
earthquake.  We will distribute the script to participants later this week.
The exercise will begin at 8:00AM and run until we complete reading the
script, likely well before noon.  We can discuss the reading at the end of
the exercise.  Although the indicated time frame is 8:00AM to Noon, reading
the script will likely take significantly less time, perhaps 1-1/2 hours,
and we will not need to take up all the indicated time.

Participants so far include: KM6GUY, KI6IYN, KI6QOW, AB6JR, AB6MT, KJ6IBU,
KM6GME, KN6FXG and KI6MZI.  If your call is listed, please confirm you can

and express your wish to participate in the exercise.  We will add you to
the list.

In our HWA General Meeting last Saturday, dates for additional exercises
were established.  All are on Saturday: March 21, June 20,  Sept. 26 and
Nov. 14.  Please save the dates.
