Congratulations to all those who qualified for their new Amateur Radio
license August 8!  We welcome you and invite you to participate in our
Communications class. The Hamilton Wireless Associatoin Communications class
is for any licensed amateurs who wish to take the next step in learning more
about amateur radio.  Four sessions are offered, as summarized below.  There
is no charge for the class.  If you have one, bring your (charged) UV-82 to
the class as we use our radios in exercises.  If you haven't yet obtained a
radio, we will discuss options in our first session.

The sessions offer (we hope) a fun introduction to radio communications.  We
will have our Basic Training Manual and ICS manual available.  There is no
charge for the class which is open to all licensed amateur radio operators.

Session 1 Thursday, August 20 - General Radio Information

Session 2 Thursday, August 27 - Radio Configuration

Session 3 Thursday, September 3 - Communications in a Group   

Session 4 Thursday, September 10 - Communications as a Service

The sessions will be held Thursdays from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.
