[MarinTeams] PGE Power Outage

Latest reports are most of Marin County will be affected by a power outage
beginning around 4:00PM local, Saturday Oct 26.  The West Marin Repeater,
Channel 6 (146.775 (-), pl 151.4), will remain operational.  The Southern
Marin and Central Marin repeaters (Channels 4 and 5) will be affected if
local power is lost.  We have stand-by generators for both repeaters which
can be deployed if warranted, and have cross-band repeater capability to tie
us over.  The cross-band frequency is 438.350MHZ with output on 146.175.  A
(new) PL setting of 103.5 Hz may be needed to activate the 438.350 cross
band frequency. It is possible we may link the cross band into the West
Marin repeater.  In any event, the cross-band repeater will be only
operational on an intermittent basis.
If repeater activity isn't available in your area, attempt to establish
contact to your neighbors on simplex Channel 3 (145.640).
Let's all hope there is minimum impact from this event.
