We have several signed up for our communications class, but are looking for
additional participants.  If you are newly licensed or would just like to
participate in an introduction to communications, we would love to have your
participation!  We start from the very beginning and have fun exploring this
new adventure.

This is the beginning of our Communication Classes.   We discuss what to
look for in a radio, general radio range, radio interference, communications
protocol and many other basic concepts.  This is a great class to attend if
you are just getting started and are unsure what benefits our Team Radio
program has to offer.

The classes offer a first introduction to radio, and we hope a fun
introduction to radio communications.  We will distribute our 128-page Basic
Training Manual and a link to the FEMA ICS manual (printed copies of the
FEMA manual are no longer available).  

There is a $30 charge for the four-session class which is open to all
licensed amateur radio operators.  Classes will be held at a facility in the
Bel Marin Keys area.

Class session 1 - General Radio Information
Class session 2 - Radio Configuration   
Class session 3 - Communications in a Group   
Class session 4 - Communications as a Service  

Here is the Class Schedule.  Class time is from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

   General Radio Information:        Thursday, March 14, 2019
   Radio Configuration:            Thursday, March 28, 2019
   Communications as a group:        Thursday, April 4, 2019
   Communications as a service:        Thursday, April 11, 2019
