Join us tonight (Thursday) from 5:30 - 7:30pm in the first of a series of
four communication classes in our ongoing communications training.  The
classes offer a first introduction to radio, and we hope a fun introduction
to radio communications.  We will have our Basic Training Manual and ICS
manual available.  There is no charge for the class which is open to all
licensed amateur radio operators.

In our first class we discuss what to look for in a radio, general radio
range, radio interference and many other basic concepts.  Suggestions for
purchasing radios and accessories are provided.  This is a great class to
attend if you are just getting started and are unsure what benefits our Team
Radio program has to offer.

The classes will be held at the San Rafael City Library meeting room on the
first floor.  The San Rafael City Library is located at the corner of "E"
and Mission Streets in downtown San Rafael.
