Tonight (Monday) we will be exercising our various means of connectivity as
part of the Radio program.
Please join us 7:00-7:30 PM on the air tonight, starting on Channel 5
(Central Marin Repeater, 146.775 (-) PL 127.3).
A cross-band repeater will be active from Central Marin on 438.350 MHz
simplex. If you would like to exercise your radio configuration skills, you
might try programming the 438.350 frequency into the VFO portion of your
radio. Simply push V/M and enter 438350. PL=none and Offset (+/-) should
be set to Simplex. Once it is configured, you can operate from the VFO
mode. If in range (which should be roughly similar to the Central Marin
repeater), you should be able to hear and communicate through the Central
Marin repeater using this frequency.
We will also make calls on Channel 4 (Mill Valley Repeater, 146.775 (-)
PL110.9), and on Channel 3(145.640). West Marin Channel 6 is 146.775 (-) PL
151.4.
Novato Stations: The 438.350 frequency can be used for a local simplex net
at 6:45. Attempt to check directly into the Central Marin Repeater using
Channel 5.
Look forward to hearing you on the air!
