A Solar Coronal Mass Ejection event occurred November 5 which will send
energetic particles toward Earth.  Reportedly, the impact will enhance polar
aurora, but aurora will only be visible in the northern skies of the earth's
polar region.  It is possible visible aurora could extend to the skies of
mid-northern latitudes which could include the northernmost parts of the US.
