[MarinTeams] Thursday's CERT Radio Message Class

Over the last year a lot of attention has been taken on how best to
incorporate the variety of message forms into our standard third party
message transfer procedure.

This question arose with the increasingly widespread adoption of the FEMA
message Form 213 (and the many adaptation of that form) by a number of
organizations.  As those of you who have checked in to the CERT Radio net
over the past year have experienced, a generic procedure is used to transfer
a variety of different message forms.  At our next Thursday class, May 8,
this format will be discussed and practiced.

This is new material and valuable to all members, old or new, as the ability
to pass third party messages will be critical in an emergency response.

The class will be held this Thursday, May 8, 7:00pm at Trinity Community
Church.  I urge everyone to attend as we will continue to utilize this
format on the net and in exercises. As part of a "can do" attitude, our
practiced skill is key to our effectiveness.
