[MarinTeams] CERT Radio on-air practice Tonight (Monday) 7:00pm

Tonight (Monday) we will be exercising our various means of connectivity as
part of the CERT Radio program.

Please join us 7:00-7:30 PM on the air tonight, starting on Channel 5
(Central Marin Repeater, 146.775 (-) PL 127.3).  We will also make calls on
Channel 4 (Mill Valley Repeater, 146.775 (-) PL110.9), and on Channel 3
(145.640). 

Novato Stations: The 438.350 frequency can be used for a local simplex net
at 6:45.  Please attempt to check directly into the Central Marin Repeater
using Channel 5.

This Saturday we will be conducting our quarterly CERT Radio License Class.
If you know someone who would like to obtain an Amateur Radio license or if
you would like to obtain/upgrade your license, this Saturday is the ideal
time to do so.  Our license class will be held Saturday at 9:00am.  If you
would like to register, please contact Bill Smith at wbs at hbco.co for further
information.  If you have prepared to upgrade your license, the examination
will be held at 1:00pm, Trinity Community Church in San Rafael.

Based on the number of those interested in Saturday's license class, our
CERT Radio Communications classes will resume Thursday, August 14 with the
Introduction class.  The CERT Radio Communication class will not be held
