[MarinTeams] Technican License Preparation Classes

The Hamilton Wireless Association has completed the Technician License
Preparation Class.    Due to the short time before the examination,
additional self-study is highly recommended.  Online practice tests are an
effective study aid.   Three sites are listed in this email.

 

On Saturday, June 15, we will also conduct our regular Technician License
Class, scheduled from 9:00AM to 12:30PM.  This is a self-study session that
is redundant to the class listed above.  Individuals who are preparing for
the Technician License examination may wish to attend this session, Saturday
morning.  Cost of the class is $25.00 which includes the $15.00 Examination
Fee.

 

On Saturday, June 15, the Hamilton Wireless Association will hold an
examination for all classes of Amateur License at 1:00PM in the conference
room at Novato Community Hospital.  Cost of the examination is $15.00.

 

Study material:

The ARRL publishes a study guide with good background material.  The book
cost is $29.95.  A limited number of copies are available at Barnes & Noble
in the Corte Madera Town Center.   Ham Radio License Manual Revised 2nd

Our Communications Class is scheduled as a review this Thursday, June 13.
The Communications Class would be an ideal time to also review Technician
examination topics.  The class will be held Thursday evening (tomorrow),
June 13, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Trinity Community Church, 1675 Grand Ave.,
San Rafael.
