This Thursday we will be conducting our ongoing CERT Radio Communication
Classes. Whether for the first time, or as a refresher, please take the
time to join us.
Thursday's Class:
Class 1 - Introduction and propagation
Class 2 - Radio Configuration
Class 3 - Net Control Procedures
* Class 4 - Message Handling
Our on air practice continues, tonight (each Monday) from 7:00pm - 7:30pm.
Look forward to hearing you this evening (Monday) on the K6BW repeater -
Novato (146.775 - pl 127.3).
Access K6BW from (146.775 - pl 110.9) to join the net using the Mill Valley
repeater. Please wait until a call is made using the Mill Valley system to
avoid interference between the repeaters.
The cross-band repeater in Mill Valley is operating to connect to the Novato
Repeater. Send and receive on 438.300 (simplex) with a PL of 100 in parts
of Corte Madera and Mill Valley to connect to the repeater in Novato.
A temporary cross-band repeater linked to Novato K6BW has been set up by
K6RGI in Kentfield. It works well in San Rafael, Corte Madera and
surrounding areas.
The input/output is 438.400 with a PL of 173.8. We would like to test the
crossband. If you have a dual band radio, please use this frequency to
attempt to check into the Novato repeater.
