Our on air practice continues, tonight (each Monday) from 7:00pm - 7:30pm.
Look forward to hearing your on the K6BW repeater - Novato (146.775 - pl 127.3).
Don't feel shy about jumping in, and don't hesitate to jump in if you notice something that is worth a comment. We all make (lots of) mistakes, our exercises are the place to make mistakes, and all of us are improving as we practice and gain experience.
In Mill Valley, access Novato K6BW through the cross band repeater. The cross band frequency is 438.300 (simplex) with a PL of 100.0.
Access K6BW from (146.775 - pl 110.9) to check in using the Mill Valley repeater. Please wait until a call is made using the Mill Valley system to avoid interference between the two repeaters.
This is the first Monday of the Month . Usually, on-air comments are discouraged regarding protocol usage, but on the first Monday of each month, stations who detect improper usage are encouraged to contact net control and suggest the proper procedure. Take a note of any variations from the protocol, and we will have a review session at the end of the net. Don't be afraid to bring up an issue, even if you are not sure of the proper procedure. We can use the item as a discussion point.
Look forward to hearing you this evening! A belated Happy 4th of July!
