Our on air practice continues, tonight (each Monday) from 7:00pm - 7:30pm. Look forward to hearing your on the K6BW repeater - Novato (146.775 - pl 127.3).
Usually, on-air comments are discouraged regarding protocol usage, but beginning this year
on the first Monday of each month, stations who detect improper usage are
encouraged to contact net control and suggest the proper procedure. The experience on January 8 was enthusiastically accepted by participating stations and several stations later suggested we extend this practice to other nets during the month. What do you think? Let's discuss during the net tonight, or if you prefer, respond via email to this notice. It will be echoed to all others on the list.
Don't feel shy about jumping in, and don't hesitate to jump in if you notice something that is worth a comment. We all make (lots of) mistakes, our exercises are the place to make mistakes, and all of us are improving as we practice and gain experience.
In Mill Valley, access Novato K6BW through the cross band repeater. The cross band frequency is 438.300 (simplex) with a PL of 100.0.
Access K6BW from (146.775 - pl 110.9) to check in using the Mill Valley repeater. Please wait until a call is made using the Mill Valley system to avoid interference between the two repeaters.
We all look forward to hearing you this evening!
