First of all, thank you to the number of stations who checked into the CERT Radio Monday night practice net.  We again prevailed under stressed conditions. If you participated in the practice net tonight, you know that the power was out at Hamilton, and apparently power was out from 8:20 this morning.  A 11-hour interval is well beyond the current expected reserve of our battery backup power.  We do have additional batteries, and perhaps it would be advisable to place them in service.

At 7:00 PM the gasoline generator was started and the repeater operated on emergency power through the 7:00 - 7:30 PM exercise.  Just as I write this at 9:00 PM, I notice that power has apparently been restored as the K6BW Novato repeater is now operational.

A reminder, feel free to use the repeater at any time, day or night.  It is there for your use.
