HWA will be conducting an Amateur Radio License Class this Saturday, November 14.

CERT Graduates or MMRC members can enroll in the class beginning at 9:00AM.  Cost of the class is $25 which includes the $15.00 test fee.   If you know of a fellow CERT or MMRC member who has expressed interest in acquiring their Amateur Radio license, please invite them to the class.

Anyone (you have to be a citizen) can take the Amateur Radio tests for a fee of $15.00.  If you are taking the General or Extra tests, bring a photocopy of your existing license to submit with your application.  All grades of Amateur Radio Tests will be administered at 1:00PM.  Please bring a photo-id.

Free on-line practice tests for Technician, General and Extra Class Licenses can be found at http://www.qrz.com/p/testing.pl.  You can take the tests as many times as you wish.  They are great study aids.
