[MarinTeams] CERT Radio Exercise Today

The October 23 Regional Emergency Exercise is in progress!  If you haven't checked in to the CERT Radio net, please do so on the K6BW repeater.  The net will be active until 8:00pm tonight (Thursaday).
 
We are running the repeater under emergency power.  We have generated and delivered messages for the San Rafael EOC, the Marin County EOC (via San Rafael), and contacted a station via short wave and passed a health and welfare message to Burney, CA.  We have also contacted a Resource Net in Oakland, CA.
 
At 4:00pm CERT Radio members will participate in an hour-long script exercise.   You may wish to tune and listen!
 
Later, we will be exercising a cross-band repeater capability and setting up a net on simplex frequencies to practice relaying information without the aid of the repeater.
 
If you haven't already, hope you will join us.  This is an ideal time to practice, which is the purpose of the exercise.
