Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for your attention and contributions! Steve Hancock and
the San Rafael EOC has offered to underwrite the cost of the batteries.
How about that! Two 900-ampere hour batteries were purchased tonight and
will be placed in service.
Steve Reynolds K6SDR and Richard Rider KI6QOT were at the clubhouse this
evening and we ran new the generator and tested the repeater under emergency
power. The hour test went well.
If you'd like to contribute anyway, we can still use the funds, and will
reserve them for CERT Radio use. Make the check out to Hamilton Wireless
Association, and mail to:
Hamilton Wireless Association
PO Box 150635
San Rafael, CA 94915-0635
Include a note with the check that the contribution is for CERT Radio or the
Battery Project.
Hope to see you all this Thursday evening. We really need to keep up
practice. Those of you who have just obtained your license, or haven't
introduced yourself to our program, please plan to attend our Thursday
classes.
Thanks again! And thanks again to Steve Hancock and San Rafael!
