Bill, is there someway to find out how many ham operators live in Corte
Madera? I am on the Disaster Council and we would like to contact them.

Subject: [MarinTeams] Battery Backup for K6BW

Members of the Hamilton Wireless Association have purchased a power
generator for the K6BW repeater, but in addition we need to obtain large
batteries to power an inverter so that the K6BW repeater and other radio
equipment can remain operational. The cost of the batteries is
approximately $150. We also need gas and gas cans.

Dulce KI6IYV and Mark Shafer KE6FGL have pledged $25 toward the project.
Can you match the pledge? If so, let us know by return mail, and/or please
send $25 to:

K6BW Battery Project
Hamilton Wireless Association
PO Box 150635
San Rafael, CA 94915-0635

Thank you. All funds received will be reserved for CERT Radio purposes.

Thank you!

P.S. Some people have had trouble posting return mail to the Marin Teams
address. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, look at the top of the screen
for the "Format" menu item. Click on Format and look for "Plain Text" (as
opposed to "Rich Text (HTML)". Click on Plain Text and your message should
be accepted for distribution.
