[MarinTeams] November 1 Exercise

CERT Radio will be holding an exercise, Thursday November 1, 2007 from
9:00am to 9:00pm, an interval of 12 hours.  Net control operators will be
guarding the K6BW repeater frequency (146.775 (-) 110.9 pl) throughout the
exercise.  Please plan on checking in with as many net control operators as
you can during the exercise.  Net control operators, please keep a record of
the callsigns and time of stations checking into the exercise.

A special exercise will be conducted at 12:00 noon.  Volunteers of CERT
Radio will follow a scripted scenario which simulates emergency response to
a 7.5 earthquake.  Five stations will cover Tierra Linda to respond to a
number of simulated incidents.  Tune in and listen to the special exercise
on the K6BW repeater, it is expected to last a little over two hours.

Thank you in advance to all the members of CERT Radio for their dedication
to the program.  Many of you have made a special effort to acquire backup
batteries and extended antennas and have set aside significant parts of your
day to participate in this exercise.
