Congratulations to all community members who have recently passed their
FCC license test.  The City of San Rafael has plans to integrate Amateur
Radio into our emergency operations and looks forward to working with
you.  Our new Emergency Services Manager, Steven Hancock starts work on
May 29, 2007. One of Steve's first projects is the execution of a
California Volunteer Grant that places Amateur Radios in City of San
Rafael Community Centers, Fire Stations and Emergency Operations
Centers. San Rafael will be looking for amateur radio volunteers to
participate in this new program. Additional information on this project
will be available as the project develops.
