The test held Monday evening is also encouraging with respect to use of
portable transceivers used as cross-band repeater stations.  These radios
are part of the grant recently awarded to the City of San Rafael for DART
Radio communications.  Thanks to Mike Angeli, KI6JAU for obtaining the
grant.  We look forward to incorporating this resource in our on-air tests
and communications practice.
