[MAMS] [Dixieland-GHeezers] K4IDC/m 70cm Spring Sprints This Evening

 I wasn't able to hear anyone, despite coordination via Dex's chat page. I
had 20 watts from a FT-857 to a horizontal omni or 16 element Yagi 20' up
at 1850' ASL; zip, zero, Ø, nada. W4ZST said other ops were
complaining about lousy condx, even on FT-8. Thanks for your effort.
It wasn't a wasted effort for me as I gained experience operating from a
developing rover configuration, but it sure would have been nice to make a
few QSOs in the process. It's similar to going "fishing" rather than going
"catching"; you'll find out if the boat leaks or doesn't run.
