I think we are going to use 144.260 using mag mounts on our vehicles
for local driving liaison. We decided to forgo using 144 for longer
liaisons. But I still might take a small beam along, even if I don't
use it, just in case.

We're having trouble finding locations with a good line of sight (not
obstructed) with a slightly more than 1 km path to try 47 GHz. I think
Pete said he has a loaner 47 GHz station if you'd like to try that,
Jim.

There are some people in the St. Louis area who might want to try to
work you on Sunday if you're in EN51xr. It's a long shot but with a
little rainscatter it just might work.

On Sunday, I will either go back to Kenosha, WI, or return to EN51xr to work the inland stations. A lot depends on the weather. If there is a good chance of inland rain scatter, then I will definitely go to EN51xr. It is a very high location with a distant horizon in nearly every direction. Even the small blockages to the East and West may not be an issue with rain scatter, since I can elevate my dish. RS may also make it possible to work Pete’s crew, if they can see the cloud tops from their location.
