Hi Marcel,

I got a late start and got to the hill in EN50rl at about 9 am. I got
set up and worked KO0Z on 1296. My transverter for that band has some
big problems. Ron said I was quite loud at his end but I could barely
hear him. It has had this problem for a while. I am going to dig into
it later and see what's up with it.

I waited around while K9PW and K3SIW worked on 47 GHz. They
successfully worked over 10 and 20 km paths. Then Pete K9PW moved to a
third location and we worked on 10 GHz over a ~ 100 mile path. We
tried but were unsuccessful on 24 GHz. Pete was then going to go to
another location to try a 40 km path with K3SIW on 47 GHz.

I came back home because I needed to be back in town at 3 pm.

Maybe next MAD we can try 1296. Hopefully I have the problem solved or
have my new transverter for that band done. I'll be on from EN50rl in
the June VHF contest next weekend.
