[MAMS] How weather affects Tropo conditions

Good morning,

I recall hearing an excellent presentation on how weather conditions, 
dew point, temperature inversion, and other factors work together to 
create temperature inversion and tropospheric propagation on VHF through 
microwave frequencies.  I believe it was at a Southeaster VHF Society 
conference.  I am in the process of looking through my printed 
proceedings for several years, to see if I can find that paper.

However, it also occurs to me that the folks that populate this 
reflector have a lot of experience and knowledge. If you could supply me 
with links to relevant information, I would appreciate it.

The info will be used to create a presentation to a local radio club.  
Hopefully it will inspire another VHF and up operator or two. I will be 
posting this on other reflectors and discussion groups also.
