Zack,
As I was ready Scott's note I was hoping you would post about your 2008 contacts!
My very first 10 Gig contact was with Pete - N0AY/ EM17? and that was 400 miles!
I haven't out did that yet -hi hi.  I got a e-mail from Dexter that said this is good news
and bad, the good news was"thats a great contact".  The bad news was that I may never
work that again.  It will take me another 10 years or so for this to sink in . . . . .

In the 2008 ARRL UHF contest I worked W4ZRZ and K4XR all the way from
222 through 10368 MHz from EN50rl. That was just short of 500 miles.
So it is possible given that rare spectacular opening!
