[MAMS] Monday, 7/16 prop observations

With the Big solar storm, flares. Kept an ear to the bands. HF prop died Sunday. Did not hear any aurora. 
 
Monday 2-6 AM local good sky viewing, kept eye out for Northern Lights. Nada. 
 
TV channels. After sunset last night, more distant stations started comming in. First time I have seen Detroit TV up here. Strongest just after sunrise. Most channels up here I have ever seen at one time. By 9 AM, some, had pretty much died out. 11 AM back to normal. Called CQ a few times on 432. 
 
CQ VHF test. Good question of what I will do. Where I will operate. depends on activity heard, and band conditions. Need to get the digital station up, operational.
