[MAMS] NLR's August Activity.

Again Zack,
Sorry!  What do you think about next year if I picked you up and we travel
together?  I would pay for the Hotel, if you can stand to share a room.  I
would like to be ready for this next year.  I do not know where to go and
what to do but I could bring my other hobby (camera's) along and take pic's
of you operating next year Zack.

I would like to go to one (1) spot where I could possibly finish VUCC's on
10 & 24 Gig's.  This is my own personnel goal in going up there.  I have put
out a few questions to some of the ops up there but I got nothing back on
what grids/ locations to be in!  As I remember, they all make reservations at
one hotel and then plan everything from there.  Oh, one other item of interest
is that I think it is Bruce - WA2? from Minneapolis/St. Paul stopped by the
tent at Dayton and he asked me if I was going to come up there this year.  I
asked him if we would need to submit a log for operating in this event and his
reply back to me was "I would get my ass kicked if I didn't!" so I took that
as a yes!

Anyway, the EME Conference is every two years so next year I could make
this event but I do not want to do it along . . . . . Think about my offer, we
have another year to plan this.  Maybe I will have 47 Gig's by then or can
find a loaner unit is another option.

I have nothing against any NLRS'ers. You're just so far away from me! I'd
participate in NLRS activities if I were up in that area. Wish we could
work more often on more bands. I think it's do-able on 902 and 1296, maybe
on 2304 but not so easy on 10 GHz.

Also, I might not have as much money as you think I do. I've been
tightening the purse strings lately.
