Good evening,

Well I guess I didn't miss any good conditions on Saturday. I suspect
the cold front from Canada had things stirred up too much to sustain
microwave propagation.

I am ready to put the four band microwave back up at 185 feet. Well, not
me, but two very kind guys in the form of Terry, W8ZN and Denny, W4FVQ
have volunteered to show up Saturday and do the heavy lifting. And I do
mean heavy. The box weighs 52 lbs. I plan to pull it up to them with
the lawn tractor. The rope and pulley are already in place. A heartfelt
thank you to those guys.

I measured sub- 0ne dB Nf on 2304 and 2 DB on 3456 and 10G and sub 2 dB
on 5G. That is about as good as I've ever seen this box do. Conversion
gains are 22-29 dB, depending on which band you look at. Power out is 26
watts on 2304, 36 watts on 3456, 4 watts on 5G and 5 watts on 10G. That
should do very well.

I also refurbished the dual 5/10 feed for my .9M dish.

I hope it will be at least another 4 years before I have to take it down
again. That's how long it has been since the last time I had the box
down to do the GPS locked LO mods on 2304 and 10G.

So, if things go as planned, I will be looking for microwave skeds by
Saturday evening.

See you on the microwave bands,

K4TO
