[MAMS] 902/1296 hot

Good morning,

K8TQK and I checked 902 and 1296 this morning, as we do about every 
morning.  Those bands are really hot.  The 1296 beacon out of Dayton was 
10 dB over S9 on my K2. I have never heard it that loud to this point.

We couldn't check any of the higher microwave bands because my four band 
microwave box is sitting on my workbench being repaired. I got it down 
from the tower Sunday and just got to it yesterday.  The control board 
is dead, as I suspected, but all of the transverter power LEDs are 
indicating that they are on. That is good news.

The hardest part of the job will be taking the stuff out of the box in 
order to get to the control board to repair it. I hope I won't have to 
completely disassemble the system.
