[MAMS] 5.7 GHz rainscatter question

I did a quick look at some of the grid parabolic reflectors, it appears the
larger one (29 dBi) is 36 inches wide, and 11 pounds. Pretty fair price if
the feed can be used as is, although I will be surprised if they actually
deliver close to advertised gain (based on claims many other wifi antennas
manufacturers make versus measured values). For fixed station use, the
windload would be a good bit less than a comparable gain solid dish though.
