Hi Zack
I tried opening the attachment it was 1 kb and only opened a small page.
I don't know if the problem is just my computer or not .
Have a great new year.
I have a question as to how many people in the group are close to St Louis ?
would this be a good start , any suggestions for a central point ?
We should have a breakfast or lunch ?
Any thoughts on this
Thanks to all .

OK Wally, I'll look at my schedule and also the weather and see if
Saturday or Sunday are possible. All the crops are out of the fields
and the leaves off the trees now so we don't have those getting in the
way.
I have a couple MICROLO boards I made that I am mainly using the
hairpin filters on, and a modified version to move the center of the
hairpin filter frequency up to 1500 MHz. The KD6OZHPLL circuit or the
modification of the oscillator circuit done by VE1ALQ seem to be the
best circuits I've found for an accurate, stable, low phase noise LO
but it's quite a bit of work to put them together. I got some of the
MC145158 PLL chips from a ham friend but I've just about used up all
of those. I did find some of the MC145158 in surface-mount form on
eBay. That will help to shrink the board just a bit.
I'm attaching the original article to see if it goes through. I
haven't sent attachments to this group, yet.
