About spit out my morning coffee reading that ... my sentiments exactly.
Apparently people have way more time on their hands than I do. E mail
reflectors are best ... so quick to delete, delete, delete, delete ... as fast
as you can press the key.

Where's the LOW DOWN ?
Info on subscribing. Last I knew, it was print:

A lot of activity, as recently as today, but due to the format, I've
probably only glanced it over 2-3 times in 2-3 decades.
It'd be nice if the posts were paralleled in email, where I speed-read
the subject lines at about 6 per second, and stop on only what interests me.
I suppose, in reality, that leaves me out of about 99.999% of what is
going on in the world, and almost everything that interests me. A pity
as I've
had an interest in LowFER since the
80's, and began my HiFER
experiments in 1994, but digging through the online forum, is like
slogging through a dumpster of old junk mail behind the post office, to
see if anyone tossed anything interesting, in the past few decades.
It's
highly impractical, and if I DO see something of interest, well, it
wasn't posted to a reflector in email, so there nothing to save, or go
back to, unlike this medium, where I have saved messages of interest
back to May 26th, 2010.
Yeah... Looking over the HiFER forum online, I'm
about as dead in the
water as can be, outside than my own ideas. That really, really sucks.
Wow. I thought the hobby had just about 100% evaporated. It's just
not easy to communicate.
