Hi Garry…..we had a very big windstorm here several weeks ago,
and I thought for sure I’d sustain some antenna damage.  My 270
foot doublet had its window line broken, but that was it, with the
beacon antenna standing up to the abuse!

Thanks for the report and Argo snip…..that’s why I have it on the
air 24/7/52 unlike some others who QRT for the summer.  It does
make for a sort of “reference” signal to compare to.
